Client Negotiations

  • Me: Is $$$$$ in your price range?
  • Client: $$$ is a better price.
  • Me: Wow, you're right it is. We'll do $$$$.
  • Client: Sounds good.

My work finds a new home

Saturday I hung my work at the place I get my hair cut. It’s good for it to get out and get see by a different audience. I don’t expect to sell much, or anything at all, but at least it’s exposure and free storage until I find another exhibition.

Art Show Wraps Up

I sold 3-4 paintings at the exhibition—I’ll know for sure when I pick up the rest on Saturday. Are the remaining paintings happy to come home to me, or sad that they didn’t get sold? Was it worth the amount of time I put into preparing the paintings? Do I sell for more money next time to make it worth my while?
