Art Show Wraps Up

I sold 3-4 paintings at the exhibition—I’ll know for sure when I pick up the rest on Saturday. Are the remaining paintings happy to come home to me, or sad that they didn’t get sold? Was it worth the amount of time I put into preparing the paintings? Do I sell for more money next time to make it worth my while?

Two New Commissioned Pieces!

A businessman in Carmel just commissioned two new pieces using scrap metal from his machine shop! I love it when businesses support local art, and give me free materials. Huzzah!

I had a meeting yesterday at the gallery where my work is hanging right now, and the owner said everyone just loves these little paintings, but would really prefer a different subject matter. She said I can replace them with more fitting pieces. Perhaps some landscapes. To sell (out) or not to sell (out). That is the question.

Prints Coming Soon

As soon as I figure out how and where to print them, I’ll have some prints up for sale. They’ll be cheap and awesome. Stay tuned. By the way, does anyone know where I can get giclee prints made?
